Bob Waggoner trained under Michael Roberts at Trumps in L. A. and later in France at Michelin-rated restaurants. At 26, he became the first American chef to own his own restaurant in France. Every year since his tenure, Charleston Grill has received AAA Four-Diamond and the Mobile Four-Star awards. He has received Food & Wine's "Reader's Favorite Chef in America Award," 1999 James Beard "Rising Stars of the 21st Century," an Emmy for his Turner South television show "Off the Menu," and is one of the few Americans to be Knighted with the "l'Odre du Mérite Agricole.". He is now pursuing a new cooking show on PBS, "U Cook with Bob."
Chef Bob will serve as the MC for SCE&G's Celebrity Kitchen Cooking Demonstrations.Events
