LADY LUCK BB&T Charleston Wine + Food Festival® Announces Winner of 2012 Official Poster Design Competition

CHARLESTON, SC – November 17, 2011: The original poster designs representing each year of the BB&T Charleston Wine + Food Festival® are as different as the artists who create them. This year’s winning design adds another variable to the equation: graphic artist Jessica Crouch is the first woman in the history of the Festival to earn the recognition.

BB&T CHARLESTON WINE +FOOD FESTIVAL® ANNOUNCES CALL FOR ENTRIES FOR 2012 POSTER COMPETITION

CHARLESTON, SC—June 28, 2011—The BB&T Charleston Wine + Food Festival® is excited to invite tri-country residents to submit entries to the seventh annual poster competition.
Artists must be 18 years of age or older and an official resident of the tri-county area (Charleston, Berkeley and Dorchester).  All submissions must be original works of art. Designs should encompass the unique culinary culture of Charleston.

BB&T CHARLESTON WINE + FOOD FESTIVAL® HOSTS ‘STATE OF THE FESTIVAL’ MEETING

CHARLESTON, SC – May 9, 2011— After six successful years, the BB&T Charleston Wine + Food Festival® plans to host a “State of the Festival” meeting. Attendees will learn more about the Festival’s beneficial economic impact on Charleston’s tourism industry, hear ideas for the 2012 Festival and have the opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback. The meeting, which is free and open to all members of the community, will be held at The American Theater at 446 King Street on Wednesday, May 25 at 11:30 a.m.
