Founded: In 2006 by a dedicated group of volunteers and community leaders.
Mainly downtown Charleston, South Carolina. The Culinary Village is located in historic Marion Square on the corner of Calhoun and King Streets. Excursions are offered to visit culinary destinations with chefs and industry experts. A number of events are hosted throughout the Lowcountry, offering an array of scenic views and an even broader taste of Charleston cuisine + culture.
A celebration of Charleston’s culinary excellence, including a local food culture rich in tradition, James Beard award-winning chefs, and their peers from around the world. More than 100 events and culinary collaborations take place over the course of five days throughout the city of Charleston.
Charleston Wine + Food is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which benefits scholarship programs for the culinary and hospitality workplace through the Culinary Institute of Charleston, The Arts Institute of Charleston, and College of Charleston’s Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management. Since our founding in 2006, we've distributed over $355,000 to local culinary + hospitality initiatives.
