BB&T Charleston Wine + Food Festival » John Rutledge House Inn

This three-night package includes accommodations for two people in a standard room in the historic John Rutledge House Inn. Built in 1763, it is one of the fifteen homes belonging to signers of the US Constitution that are still in existence and the only one to now accommodate overnight guests. Located in the historic district of Charleston, the Inn is walking distance to Marion Square – the main site of the 2012 BB&T Charleston Wine + Food Festival®.

Guests will begin their weekend with tickets to Salute to Charleston’s Chefs: Opening Night Party at the South Carolina Aquarium on Thursday, March 1^st from 7:30 to 10:30.

On Friday, after enjoying a complimentary breakfast, guests will enjoy the fantastic Culinary Village + AAA Carolinas, Azamara Club Cruises + Piggly Wiggly Grand Tasting Tents at Francis Marion Square (from 2 – 5 pm) where they will experience many samples of the finest food Charleston and the Southeast have to offer as well as taste wines from all over the country. Then, at 7 pm sharp, guests will attend one of the Festival’s most coveted events – the Perfectly Paired Dinner at Anson Restaurant.

On Saturday morning (noon – 2:00 pm) guests will enjoy the Vineyard Voyage on SpiritLine Cruises, with departure from the Aquarium Wharf Dock.

Sunday morning will prove to be one of the highlights of the weekend with tickets to the famed Lowcountry Gospel Brunch (11:00 am – 1:00 pm). This will include transportation (departing at 10:15 am) from Marion Square to Lowndes Grove Plantation.

The Gastronome Package is limited in availability. A deposit of 50% of the package price will be due at time of reservation.
