The 12th installment of Charleston Wine + Food was one for the record books. We sipped, tasted, learned, explored and networked with over 20,000 guests. Now that the festival has ended, clean-up and break-down is in full force. On Monday we had a large truck pull up to the Culinary Village to pack up 3,128 lbs of food that would be donated to One80 Place. One80 Place’s Food Rescue Truck collects over $500,000 worth of food from generous restaurants, grocery stores, businesses and individuals for its Community Kitchen on a yearly basis. The community kitchen at One80 Place opens daily at 12:00pm and serves an average of 185 lunches per day to anyone in need. Annually, they serve about 170,000s meals. Charleston Wine + Food is honored to help contribute to this cause of feeding those in need in our local community.

One80 Place is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit that provides food, shelter and critical supportive services to help individuals, Veterans and families turn their lives around. To learn more visit their website.
