In Andalucia, Spain, locals speak of Duende – the manifestation of a spirit who comes alive in an evocation of music, dance, and food.

Join us for a delicious journey to Spain without ever leaving the Lowcountry. Chef and local tour guide, Forrest Parker, will welcome Asheville’s Chef Katie Button of Curate, for a “Palmetto Duende”. Locally sourced small bites based on Andalusian and Lowcountry tradition will greet guests for an intimate reception, followed by a spirited performance of flamenco style music and dancing. For dinner, guests will adjourn to the Drawing Room at the Vendue to enjoy a multi-course menu that will incorporate Southern and Spanish flair.  Flowing Spanish wines will be presented by Liz Sathe from Folio Fine Wine Partners.
