One-of-a-kind perfectly paired dinners are what you’ll experience at this highly coveted series of Festival events. This year, 17 of Charleston’s renowned chefs—two of them winners of the James Beard Foundation’s Best Chef in the Southeast Award—are opening the doors of their acclaimed restaurants to a nationally celebrated chef. Together, they’ll craft a five-course tasting menu that at once highlights and merges their distinctive culinary styles. An expert winemaker will be on hand at each restaurant to pair every dish with the perfect varietal.


A new vision by Chef Kevin Johnson, The Grocery, opening in December 2011, is a neighborhood gathering place showcasing ingredients from our favorite farmers, fishermen, foragers and artisans.
