Wind your way through the luscious beauty of America’s oldest landscaped gardens just in time to enjoy the radiant bloom of centuries-old camellias and daffodils. Along the way, you’ll meet nine featured Festival winemakers who’ll be offering special varietals selected for this afternoon at Middleton Place, a National Historic Landmark. The winemakers and local chefs will join you in the pavilion for a sumptuous lunch. If you’re taking the shuttle, a docent will provide you with the fascinating history behind this 18th-century institution.
Shuttle departs from Francis Marion Hotel (387 King Street) at 11:30 am and returns at 3:30 pm.
* Comfortable shoes and cameras are a must. Handicapped accessibility is limited in the gardens.

Expect to be impressed by the revamped Culinary Village as well as by the AAA Vacations/Azamara Club Cruises + Piggly Wiggly Taste of the South Grand Tasting Tents. They’ve gotten so popular that we’ve had to expand by taking over Marion Square! Over 90 food, wine and spirit stations serving samples of products from across the country are blended together at this Festival hot spot. The perimeter tents feature the SCE&G Celebrity Kitchen (home of the Thermador Cooking Competitions), Charleston Cooks! Retail + Book Signing Tent, Palmetto Cheese Culinary Hub (showcasing specialized food talks and hands-on demos), our official Festival merchandise boutique, BB&T Lounge, Whole Foods Market Wine Shop and the Stock Yards Angus Beef and Sterling Silver Outdoor Living + Grilling Area (complete with a FIJI Water Lounge, sit-down grilling demos and more).
*Note: When purchasing a Saturday ticket, each guest MUST select a specific time for entry into the Grand Tasting Tents. Guests will have unlimited access (from 11 am – 6 pm) to all of the other tents.

Southern pitmasters are helping us draw the Festival weekend to the perfect close. Ten local and national ‘que maestros are going to be pitted against each other to see who can prepare the most finger-licking good barbequed whole hog, brisket, chicken and fixings. Upon entering, you’ll receive a token so that you can vote for your favorite and see how your choice compares to that of our celebrity judges. Ice-cold beer, wine and cocktails will quench your thirst, and our favorite acoustic quartet—The Bushels—treat us to their bluegrass music. And don’t forget to pick-up a Moonpie!
