Third spaces are anchors of community life and foster creative interaction in a laid back way. They are welcoming, comfortable, filled with old and new friends, and food and drink are paramount.
In its second year, The Third Space will come to life within a dynamic, multi-sided, airy tent. Award-winning Charleston chefs, along with guest chefs, will host 60+ intimate demos and tastings throughout each day in five areas: Earth supported by GrowFood Carolina, Air presented by Springer Mountain Farms, Land presented by Stock Yards, Sea presented by St. Jude Farms, and Fire presented by Firefly Spirits.
The Third Space will also be the spot for daily, not-to-be missed conversations, featuring commentary from The Mind of A Chef personalities, Chef Sean Brock (season two star), and Chef Gabrielle Hamilton (season four star), as well as other culinary luminaries. These dynamic conversations will dive deep into the shows acclaimed ethos, while also exploring the culinary creative process and trending food topics. Moderated by The Mind of a Chef producers, Michael Steed and Nari Kye, these talks will take notable culinary talent out of the kitchen and into the spotlight, further revealing their personal culinary journeys.
